Chippa United 3-2 Orlando Pirates
Orlando Pirates' lead at the top of the table was cut down to one point after a 3-2 defeat to Chippa United on Saturday morning at Wolfson Stadium.
The first stanza did not produce goals but Chippa raced to a three-goal lead in the second stanza through Thulani Mini, Azola Mqokozo and Vuyolwethu Dinge.
Sphamandla Mdunge pulled a goal back for the Buccaneers ten minutes before time and Boitumelo Radiopane got a second goal back, netting his 17th goal of the season but it was too little too late.
AmaZulu 0-2 Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs clinched back-to-back wins after beating AmaZulu 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at King Zwelithini Stadium.
Keletso Sifama opened the scoring for Amakhosi in the first quarter of an hour and Keviano Francis sealed the deal 20 minutes before time.
Stellenbosch 3-0 Mamelodi Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns' five-game unbeaten run came to an end after they were hammered 3-0 by Stellenbosch on Saturday afternoon at Idas Valley Sports Ground.
Solly Khunyedi and Liam de Kock gave Stellies a two-goal cushion going to the half-time break and Jared van der Burg made it 3-0 for the Western Cape side on the hour-mark.
Stellies were reduced to ten men in the last 20 minutes after goalkeeper Lebohang Nthene was red-carded for denying Sundowns a clear goal-scoring chance but they held on and closed the gap behind leaders Orlando Pirates to just one point in second place.
Marumo Gallants 1-3 SuperSport United
SuperSport United got back to winning ways after thrashing Marumo Gallants 3-1 on Saturday morning at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Neo Rapoo gave SuperSport an early lead in the third minute but Gallants found the equaliser in the 25th minute.
However, Tendamudzimu Matodzi restored the lead for Matsatsantsa on the hour-mark and Bilal Baloyi secured the three points with the third goal ten minutes before time.
Royal AM 2-2 Golden Arrows
Royal AM and Golden Arrows could not be seperated after playing to a four-goal thriller in the KwaZulu-Natal derby played at the Mpulamanga Stadium on Sunday morning.
Khulekani Shezi gave Thwihli Thwahla an early lead but Philani Khumalo quickly found the equaliser for Arrows in the 13th minute.
Abafana Bes'thende had two disallowed goals for offside in the first stanza before going behind again just before the half-time break, as Shezi got his brace, however, Khumalo also netted twice, as he snatched the equaliser for Arrows 15 minutes before time.
Maritzburg United 3-2 Swallows
Maritzburg United got their fifth win of the campaign after edging Swallows in a five-goal thriller on Saturday morning at Harry Gwala Stadium.
Razeen Bennett gave United the lead in the tenth minute but Tinyiko Sithole levelled matters for the Birds two minutes later.
Ngcobo restored the lead for the Team of Choice just before the half-time break while Ntombela gave them a two-goal cushion early in the second stanza.
Sibiya reduced the deficit to 3-2 for Swallows in stoppages but it was too little too late.
