With a number of new arrivals at Juventus ahead of next season, the Italian giants are bound to be a strong force in the UEFA Champions League, especially with a fired-up Cristiano Ronaldo. Here is how they could line up with their new additions, including three high-profile stars.

The most notable new signing at the Bianconeri is arguably Dutch wonderkid Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax Amsterdam, but there are a few other arrivals who could make Maurizio Sarri’s life in Italy much easier.

Adrien Rabiot arrived on a free transfer after his contract at Paris Saint-Germain expired in July, as did former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey. Both stars, who, if they stay injury free, could find themselves regulars in Sarri’s team.

With Paulo Dybala linked with a switch, the Welshman might be deployed where he most effective for the Gunners, in an attacking midfield role, while Rabiot could be used in a three across the middle of the park.

De Ligt is likely to form part of a centre-back trio, alongside two of the best centre-backs in world football, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.

This strong core might be able to provide enough support for the club’s superstar forward, who will look to be picked out by the marauding wingbacks.

Of course, Sarri might prefer a four-man defence, which he used effectively at Chelsea, but it would be difficult to imagine the Italian boss leaving out one of his star defenders in his strongest XI.

Having gone close to the Champions League on a couple occasions in recent years, Juve will be desperate to make a strong run in Europe, and this might be the team that could get them there.
