Baroka FC aim to begin their quest to move up the Absa Premiership log with a win against Mamelodi Sundowns in tonight's match.

The Limpopo outfit, who are oozing with confidence at the moment after their impressive Telkom Knockout win over Orlando Pirates at the weekend, will be at the Lucas Moripe Stadium tonight for their league match against the defending league champions.

Baroka midfielder and captain, Mduduzi Mdantsane, has told the Siya crew that his team will be ready for anything that Downs will be throwing at them tonight.

“Sundowns is a big team and we know that it’s not going to be easy playing against them. Coming back from the final, I think we are motivated, happy and we are ready for anything. We are going to try and get the maximum points as much as we can because we are not in a good position on the log. We are going to focus on the league now and forget about the Telkom Knockout,” said Mdantsane.

@roger-fetumba so says an ignorant and perhaps gullible somebody. How did they beat you in the quarter-finals? I repeat in the quarter finals with 11 against 11. Bucs drew with Baroka playing with 10 men for 85 minutes. I guess that truth hurts when your team which claims to be big had to resort to thuggery in order to draw with Bucs. Those are tactics of a small, unprofessional team
