After spending some time training with Black Leopards last week, it seems that the centre-back won’t be signed by the Limpopo outfit.

News reaching the Siya crew is that the 34-year-old has surfaced at Chippa United for training with the team under coach Clinton Larsen.

It was recently reported by the Siya crew that the Chilli Boys have had their sights on Bloemfontein Celtic’s Wandisile Letlabika, among some of the club's targets, as Larsen is keen on making defensive reinforcements to his squad.

Furthermore, with Gladwin Shitolo’s move back to Chippa from Orlando Pirates uncertain, as the player is seemingly reluctant to make the switch to Port Elizabeth, the Chilli Boys will want to add to their defence with experienced players in preparation of the new season.

The Siya crew first reported on Chippa’s interest in Mashamaite in December, before the player was signed by Baberwa in January.

@Dangerous when provoked so you are saying these kids must leave school for soccer. Do you know what it takes to be a player, 101% commitment to the game my brother. At least 2 training sessions a day plus traveling. We pass matric at average age of 17/18 in SA. What u r saying doesn't talk to SA
