Cape Town Spurs star Abednego Mosiatlhaga and former Baroka captain Denwin Farmer have completed their medicals ahead of their move to a Gauteng-based DStv Premiership club, the Siya crew can reveal.

Mosiatlhaga, heavily linked with an exit from CT Spurs in the last two years with several Premiership clubs, including SuperSport United, eager to bring him on board, looks set to seal a deal to the topflight with his contract in Cape Town expiring in June, while Farmer became a free agent after parting ways with the relegated Baroka.

The former Bidvest Wits attacker, Mosiatlhaga, is understood to have signed a permanent deal with Sekhukhune United, with Farmer believed to have put pen to paper on a two-year contract, as reported by the Siya crew.

Sekhukhune’s announcement of the duo's signing is expected in the coming days, with indications that all the relevant paperwork between the parties involved completed. Siya sources have revealed that both players were spotted at the club’s offices in Bedfordview on Wednesday afternoon.

Mosiatlhaga has been a consistent performer in the GladAfrica Championship in recent years, helping Stellenbosch gain promotion to the Premiership before clinching the second-tier league’s Golden Boot award in the 2020/21 campaign with Ajax Cape Town.

Meanwhile, Farmer was one the standout players for Baroka, scooping up a number of Man of the Match awards in a disappointing campaign for the Limpopo-based side.

The 25-year-old defender made 28 appearances in all competitions with two goals and an assist to his name.
