Percy Tau will get the chance to make his debut in the UEFA Champions League proper next month, and there are some massive European nights ahead of him after Club Brugge discovered their group stage opponents.

The Bafana Bafana international played a part in making his UCL dream come true last night as he came on to set up Brugge's second goal against LASK as they secured their place in the group stages of Europe's most prestigious club competition, and will now get to don the UCL logo on his arm and line up to the famous theme tune.

Now, having played three of Brugge's qualifiers in order to make it this far, Tau can look forward to games against Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Galatasaray after the Belgian giants discovered their group this evening, with the first match set to take place on the 17th or 18th of September next month.

In just a few short years Tau has gone from playing in the Multichoice Diski Challenge, to the Absa Premiership, to winning the CAF Champions League with Mamelodi Sundowns, to playing in the UCL with one of the biggest clubs in Belgium - an impressive rise for the 25-year-old attacker, and now he'll be looking to make his mark on the European stage against some of the world's best players.

Brugge finished third in their group last season, behind Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid, but ahead of Monaco, before being knocked out of the Europa League by Red Bull Salzburg in the Round of 32 - now they face trips to the Parc des Princes and Bernabeu.

@4lyf True, the sad part is Tau had to fight with Pitso to move abroad, just like Dolly. and Zungu, I do not know why they do not let players go to greener pastures....I feel they feel like they own the players life.
