It would appear that Bongani Zungu has no intention of taking the big-money option at this point in his career, with the Bafana Bafana international turning down an approach from China.

The 26-year-old is currently on the verge of a return to action for Amiens in Ligue 1 after a long-term knee injury, and this week was back in full training as he looks to try and get back to full fitness and help them in their battle against relegation.
While most leagues around the world saw their transfer window close on January 31st, there is still a couple of weeks left before the Chinese window comes to an end, and the Siya crew has been informed that Hebei China Fortune made an enquiry about the availability of Amiens’ defensive midfielder.
Hebei currently have the likes of Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Mascherano on their books, as well as Chris Coleman as their coach, and it is thought that they were considering a move that could see Zungu join them in Langfang.
Siya sources, however, revealed that Zungu was quick to shut down the approach as he has intentions of climbing up the football ladder in Europe rather than moving into Asia at this point in his career.
Zungu was attracting interest from the likes of Olympique Lyonnais and Marseille prior to his injury, and he will be eager to try and get back to his best in the coming weeks as he focuses on helping Amiens maintain their place in the top-flight.
