SuperSport defened deep and in numbers in the closing phase of the first stanza, with the Buccaneers struggling to carve out any chances in the final third.

The match was opened up after that and Lepasa came close to giving Josef Zinnbauer's charges the lead in the last 20 minutes with a glancing header at the near post that missed narrowly wide.

Bradley Grobler had a good chance to snatch the winner for United in the last five minutes after a cross by Ghampani Lungu towards the far post but he could not capitalise, as he took a heavy touch before goalkeeper Richard Ofori cleared danger.
