@dbain, and again I said in terms of PRESTIGE, if you can read...I didn't say in terms of how one has one time or so in history been lucky enough to win against the best club in the world. So according to you the fact that Ajax beat Madrid last season means Ajax are now suddenly a greater and superior club than Real?

@dbain, you boys are slow upstairs...if TS Galaxy beat Chiefs or Sundowns or Pirates are TS suddenly to be considered a stronger team than them? Don't be stupid, any team can beat any team on its day especially in a knockout game. How many times do you think Liverpool or Chelsea will beat Barcelona or Real Madrid if they were to play the best of 5 or 10 games? That is how you measure an inferior versus a superior product...not on once off, once in a blue moon event. OK children?

Look at the top grossing teams in the world...Isn't it the two Laliga giants respectively? So then why would Messi of all people, the GOAT himself, go languishing in some lowly placed club when he's at the best? Isn't that thought in itself just plain stupid before any other reason?

How in hell can Messi leave the best club in the world to join an American team of all places, when he won't even join all those much inferior and less prestigious teams in England, Italy and Germany? Tell me...in terms of prestige, aside from maybe Real Madrid alone(which he will NEVER join), who can compete with FC Barcelona? Stop feeding us rubbish here and get real football news for us...show some respect

Messi still has a lot to offer in Europe. These retirement villages of MLS and China will have to wait for now. Maybe Beckham should try his luck with Ronaldo.
