Kaizer Chiefs signed five new players this season as they look to end their trophy drought, but just one of them is among the most expensive players at the club…
Check out Chiefs’ 13 most valued players – and their Rand value – in the gallery above!
The Glamour Boys brought in Lazarous Kambole, Samir Nurkovic, James Kotei, Kearyn Baccus and Yagan Sasman to bolster their ranks for the 2019/20 campaign, with three of them having already made an impact at Naturena under Ernst Middendorp.

Another plus for Chiefs was that they managed to keep hold of the majority of their key players, with Teenage Hadebe – who was sold for a profit – the only regular performer from last season that headed out of the exit.
The Siya crew took a look at the 13 players with the highest market value at Naturena this season according to German website,, and only one of their new signings made it in there after seeing his value rise by €150,000 over the last year to €450,000 – that was Kearyn Baccus.
The nearest new signings to Baccus are Nurkovic and Kambole who are valued at €150k (around R2.4m each), while Sasman and Kotei are at €100k (R16.2m).

Khama Billiat (€2m) and Itumeleng Khune (€1.2m) remain the most expensive players at Naturena, with George Maluleka, Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Daniel Cardoso not too far behind at (€850k).

@SL_hated_donkey I like your style. You're reminding everyone that Chiefs is the only team with 10 points on top of the log

3 divide by 30= 10% , yet FAU fans are celebrating as if FAU is not leading a team in position 2 with one point and position 3 with two points, position 4,5 and 6 with 3 points. In Sotho I would simply say " FAU gaya tlwaela go etapele".
