Baxter recently tendered his resignation from the South African national team after guiding them to the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations in Egypt, and since then there has been lots of talk regarding his next move.
According to Siya sources, a Scandinavian agent based in the Middle East is looking to try and broker a move that would see the English coach join former European Cup winners, Steaua București, with the club currently on the lookout for a replacement for Mihai Teja.
The Siya crew is led to believe that Baxter will head back to Europe this week following his official resignation earlier in the month, where he will assess his options going forward before making a decision on the next step in his career.

Baxter is believed to have attracted interest from Africa, Europe and Asia following Bafana’s AFCON campaign in Cairo, but at this point in time it is thought that there has been no decision made regarding where his next job will be.
Steaua have a crucial UEL qualifier coming up this week against Mladá Boleslav as they look to book their spot in the final round of qualifiers before the group stages.

Sir Baxter, Good luck in your new endeavors. You have served Mzantsi with aplomb. You've won titles at both Chiefs and SSU, you've taken BB to AFCON Quarter Finals something your predecessor coaches failed to do. You're better off than overrated Micho who have won nothing since he arrived in Mzantsi. i do not remember you being seeking cover from Police after being hacked by pangas and assegaais from club supporters. You have established yourself with International Coaches like Mounrinho, Wenger whom can provide good reference about your Coaching. Good Luck Boy!

Kekana, Mabunda were going to be the strong central midfielders for us to be able to deal with Nigeria but Baxteena opted to make them fans.
