Clarence Seedorf has named the final Cameroon 23-man squad that will do duty at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, but a number of stars missed out, including the striker who netted the winner in the 2017 Nations Cup final in Gabon.

Vincent Aboubakar is arguably the biggest omission from Seedorf's squad. The FC Porto talisman was initially named in the Indomitable Lions' 29-man provisional squad, but missed out on selection due to a knee injury that saw him being sidelined for most of the 2018/19 campaign.
Despite netting his first-ever goal for Cameroon in an 11-0 pre-AFCON friendly win over Alcorcon, Wolfsburg attacker Paul-Georges Ntep also failed to convince Seedorf of his credentials and will not feature at the African spectacle in Egypt.
Other players the former AC Milan midfielder declined to take to the tournament include Red Bull Salzburg defender Jerome Onguene and Nurnberg midfielder Edgar Salli, both of whom featured in Cameroon's 2017 AFCON-winning side.
Seedorf's squad is headlined by Paris Saint-Germain star Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, LaLiga-based Karl Toko Ekambi and goalkeeper Andre Onana, who played an integral role in Ajax Amsterdam's run to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in the past campaign.
The five-time AFCON winners have been placed in Group F alongside Benin, Guinea-Bissau and Ghana, and Seedorf's charges face Mali in their final pre-tournament friendly on Friday 14 June, before opening their 2019 AFCON campaign against Guinea-Bissau on 25 June.
