Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane has made a suggestion on who should be considered for the centre-back roles at Bafana Bafana.
Head Coach Stuart Baxter will name his national team squad soon, as he begins preparation to face Libya on March 24, in the final Africa Cup Of Nations qualifier.

Speaking to the media this week, Mosimane pointed out that the likes of Rivaldo Coetzee and Mosa Lebusa are looking to raise their hand and be considered for a spot in the South African national team setup.
“Riva must play now, because Riva I think is an intentional player for Bafana, so also to help him a little bit so Stuart could see him, that he’s got a centre-back. Mosa has been playing, Stuart knows Mosa is there, so to increase and also help Bafana with the number of centre-backs, so in my opinion, I think we’ve been having not really convincing centre-backs for Bafana Bafana,” Mosimane said after Sundowns’ 3-2 win over Cape Town City midweek.
“Before we used to know who is playing so at this point in time it could be a little bit different, so the position is up for grabs. Mosa Lebusa has been playing Champions League so he is also raising his hand,” he added.
