why afcon don't get the same recognition as copa america and euro tournaments?

For the past two months,africa enjoyed a successful africa cup of nations tournament which was organised in egypt.the north african nation had to step in for cameroon which were stripped off hosting rights by caf because of being late and behind schedule.

However,afcon seems to not getting enough recognition as copa america and euro does globaly.this's the biggest continental football festival,where only the best in africa face off each other for the coveted african biggest throphy.

Egypt deserve every credit for hosting a successful afcon tournament in such a short space of time.they made look like it has been in their plans for long time interms of organisations and professionalism.

Africa deserve recognition in the world,africa cup of nations deserve global recognition in football fraternity .the same way as other continental tournaments.

African top footballing nations like senegal,nigeria,algeria,egypt,ivory coast,tunusia,morocco and ghana are all in better positions of fifa rankings.african football has been growing and improving over the past years.

African fans are very passionate about football ,and talent is in abundance in africa.
