Buying a team to stay on top |

Admittedly, the DNA of my gripe could be informed by jealousy and depending from where you standing you will identify or disagree with my point of view granted, we will never flow to one direction as we are not water....be that as it may and, developing a hard skin in anticipation of the insults i am going incur I feel; That Sundowns are no longer interested the in the betterment of SAFA but to the conquering of the PSL. They do not care if the national team gets replenished with new talent developed by PSL teams all they care for is for them to be on top of the league. For this they are prepared to buy anyone who pois a threat to them, such that before long Sundowns will have no competition in league as they would have bought every player that dares to compete with them. That will dramatically drop the standard of the league while the Sundowns name will be elevated. I think its high time that teams like Sundowns, Pirates, Wits are grounded from buying anymore players for a season or two so that the distribution of quality players is spread around...and other teams are given a lifeline to compete.Hogging all the players and benching them does not do SAFA any justice instead it sounds the death knell of the country's football. This problem is prevalent to some big leagues where the teams with big budgets buy players from all over the world and their domestic players are ignored. Their Professional Soccer Leagues are very competitive while their National Teams do not reciprocate their league competitiveness....now the insults.
